Location Activities:

The resort is at the southern end of the hotel zone, on Cancun Island, on the ocean side. Nearby activities include water skiing, boating, golf, snorkeling, fishing, parasailing, nightlife and discoteques, jet skiing, scuba diving and tours of ruins with the larger ruins, such as Chichen Itza, on the mainland. Boat excursions to Isla Mujeres or Cozumel are also available.

Beautiful beaches lie to the south of Cancun, including a Mayan city at the beach at Tulum. Xel Ha is a favorite spot for snorkelers. Directions:

The airport is 8 miles away. Just take the highway to Cancun and take Boulevard Kukulkan at the southern entrance to the hotel zone (not the northern as this would take you through the town of Cancun and cost you needless backtracking). Taxi service is readily available at the airport and in the hotel zone.
