Location Activities:

Kauai is known for beautiful beaches, lavarock grottoes, waterfalls and its greenery which gives it the name the “Garden Isle.” Helicopter tours are availabe. Other Kauai attractions include Waimea Canyon, Wailua Falls, the Olu Pua Gardens, the Holo-Holo-Ku Heiau (an ancient sacrificial altar), the Menehune Fishpond, Coco Palms beaches, Hanalei Bay, Poipu Beach, Lumahai Beach and the rugged north coast, where the movie “South Pacific” was filmed.

Nearby activities include fishing, deep-sea charters, golf, hiking, horseback riding, nightlife, water skiing, windsurfing, and snorkling. Some Kauai beaches are good for surfing. Kauai’s airport is at Lihue.
